Welcome to Chabad's High Holiday services!
The Hebrew word for prayer is "Tefillah," which also means "self evaluation." We believe that old stuffy services can be reinvigorated with an emphasis on personal growth and reflective meditation, and our services are designed to allow and encourage precisely that.
Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in the most meaningful way. Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service. Rabbi Boyarsky provides an English running commentary of explanatory and meaningful insights. It's time for a reset; join us!
All services will take place in a spacious tent in the front of the Finkelstein Chabad Jewish Centre at 254 Friel St.
A delicious brisket dinner will be served Monday evening, September 6th. Kiddush luncheon will be held following services on Tuesday September 7th and 8th.
We look forward to greeting you there!
